Annually, on a Wednesday in Eindhoven, there is a district championship for primary school teams. Primary schools from Eindhoven, Best, Son and Breugel, Nuenen and Geldrop, can participate in this tournament with one or multiple teams consisting of 4 (or 5) children. Children from all year groups (1 up to 8) who know how all chess pieces move can participate, and participation is entirely free. This competition is a preliminary round for the finals in which schools from all over Brabant participate.

The preparations for 2024 have already started. In collaboration with Eindhoven Sport, we are trying to find a large location so that all schools in and around Eindhoven can participate with one or more teams. Who can help us to make this tournament an even better success in 2024?!
